L MADE began with a simple frustration: good essential oils were either clinical or precious, and rarely honest about what was in the bottle.

Smell reaches memory before language does. That is the whole idea behind this brand: a small, well-made set of oils you actually reach for, tied to the parts of a day worth marking — the first hour, the open window, the end of the evening.
We would rather make sixteen blends properly than a hundred carelessly.

How we make it
Blended by nose, in small runs
Every blend starts on paper and ends at a bench, adjusted by smell rather than formula. Once it is right, we bottle in runs small enough that we can still stand behind each one.
